Multi-level Marketing companies abound by the thousands. A great many well-known economists are predicting this form of selling to become the prevailing method of selling by the turn of the century.
A lot of people have joined multi-level marketing programs and have made a fortune from their efforts. Anybody with just a smattering of ambition and energy can still join up and attain financial freedom.
However, unless you know what you're doing and how to do it, you'll probably never make much more than your expenses.
First off, be sure of the MLM company you hook up with - make sure it's all it claims to be, and that it will not only make regular payments to you, but that it will ship the merchandise to your customers and is going to be around for years to come.
Secondly, be sure that the product you're promoting has mass appeal - does it sell itself and will people stand in line to buy it. A lot of well-meaning advertising writers advise you to select a product, devise a selling plan and then to work on your plan - but, this will only put you into the shoes of an Eight-Days-A-Week Sales Person. The one product that sell itself, and for which people the world over will stand in line for, is "How-To Information" that explains to people wanting to get rich, how to get rich.
Thirdly, make sure the program you decide upon can be adapted to sales by mail. Believe me, selling by mail is the least expensive and most efficient method of selling there is.
Look at all the ads in the trade papers and magazines - all those trying to sell multi-level programs - what are they missing? Can you adapt your program to "have to have" advertising?
Amway could go with a direct mail circular starting out with something like: Get paid for cleaning your own home!
Yurika Foods could go with a circular like so: Receive a 25 cents rebate for every dollar you spend on food!
What I'm advocating is that you make up a direct mail circular to pull in new prospects. We've used such a circular for 3 different MLM programs - we sent out 10,000 circulars asking for $2 for further details of our program, and in each instance, we pulled in more than 4,000 first line distributors. Get yourself a mailing list of 10,000 or more opportunity seekers; make up an advertising circular that whets the appetite of the recipients; then get these circulars into the mail. When the orders for more information come in, send them a sales letter along with your program join-up brochure.
You can have thousands of these brochures printed and mailed to everyone in your area - even to names from the phone book - or to people all across the country...but to be really effective, and bring back a profit for you, you should have a complete mailing package. In other words, you MLM Advertising Circular asking for $2 in exchange for further information about the best MLM Program yet devised can be your door opener - then, you should include other things that should also interest the prospect - in other words, not just a single sheet of paper.
Our own direct mail package usually includes our current MLM Advertising Circular - then our current special of the month: sometimes mailing lists at greatly reduced prices or a special book - and then a listing of our How-To Informational Reports. We figure that with this direct mail package, if they - the recipient - doesn't want one thing, he'll want the other. In a great many cases, we get orders for the whole package which sometimes runs to several hundred dollars. The thing is, we've been very successful with this mailing package, most of the time pulling in better than 10% orders per thousand packages mailed out. And, our MLM conversion rate - people who send in $2 for further information on our MLM Program and then end up joining the program under our sponsorship has been running better than 30 percent!
How To Parlay Any Multi-Level Program Into Real Riches - start with a good product (How To Make a Real Profit With A Current Sparetime Project). Make up a direct mail advertising circular, send it out to everybody in the country - with a complete direct mail package; and you'll be home free!

Making Money With Information Products
-Guys, this is one of the most powerful business strategies on the internet!-
So have you ever thought about becoming an infopreneur?
http://www.profitpuppy.com to learn more about merchant accounts.E-books, tapes and SIV information Products can be the ideal business to start - they are easy to produce, simple to ship, and enjoy high returns because people aren’t paying for the physical form the product is delivered in. Remember, that after you’ve completed your product, you’ll be making nearly 100% profit (that’s if people are interested enough to buy it). For example, if you produced just 1 DVD and can sell 500 copies at $50 a piece, you stand to make $25,000…

So have you ever thought about becoming an infopreneur?
Info marketing is a multi-million dollar industry which is still open to just about anyone with a good idea. There’s the potential to earn a six figure income from selling your own tapes, ebooks, videos, reports, CD’s, ezines and DVDS to name a few.
I actually know a few people who are making millions a year through home-based operations (and a few others who have been able to subsidize their incomes from low risk business ideas). In most cases, all it took was some good market research and the get up and go to actually put the information product together.
Believe it or not, that’s the biggest obstacle to overcome when putting together an ebook or DVD product is actually having the motivation to get started - it’s not as hard as it sounds!
The most common, and usually the most successful information products are e-books, audio cd / tapes and increasingly, DVD’s. We’ll take a look at each of these categories below:
Writing a successful ebook
You really have 2 options here. You can develop the content of the e-book yourself, or you can get someone to do it for you. There’s a few other ways you can go about creating an e-book, for instance, obtaining the rights to an out of print book, but these methods and considerably more complex and don’t offer any guarantees.
If you’re a semi-confident writer, my advice would be to try and write the book yourself. A good way to start is to write about something that you are interested in – spend 15 minutes a day putting down your ideas, if you find you are struggling, do your best to outline your ideas and then investigate the possibility of hiring a writer to research and draft the remainder of your ebook.
There are loads of good writers around who will put together polished and concise copy for around 10 cents per word. Take a look at http://www.profitpuppy.com/freelance-sites.htm for more information about finding a freelance writer.
Some writers expect up to $175 US an hour for their services, although thanks to the internet, it’s not impossible to find a reasonably talented scribe for around 10 cents per word. It’s important that you are clear in what you want to achieve when advertising a project so that you attract someone who is suited to the project. If you don’t have any luck with Elance or Freelance Writers, you could also try posting to Yahoo Groups or approaching people at your local uni.
It’s important to remember that your reader probably won’t be too concerned about your command of the English language - just make sure you clearly explain your concepts and ideas (especially if you are writing a “how-to” style ebook). For more information about writing and marketing e-books, visit http://www.profitpuppy.com/writing-and-selling-ebooks.htm where you will find a number of valuable resources.
Audio CD’s and Tapes
If you don’t fancy yourself as a writer whatsoever, another option you have is to create and audio tape or CD. It’s not as expensive as you might think, and audio products still have great appeal for buyers.
While DVD’s and Videos have become easier to create, tapes and CD’s are still the mainstay of the information product world. The reason of this is that media savvy buyers aren’t enticed by the often amateurish production qualities of video or DVD info products. Another advantage of tapes and CD’s is that you can listen to them anywhere, for example in your car on the way to work.
To produce a CD or Tape of reasonable quality, you are going to need to purchase (or hire) the necessary equipment. If you can afford to buy some studio time, it’s worthwhile, but if you just starting out, it’s an undue expense that you can avoid. Your local electronics store should be able to arm you with a noise reducing microphone and some high quality audio tapes (although you could record your to your computer first). You can expect to pay around $50 - $80 all up. You don’t need expensive equipment to get started, although you may have to upgrade if as you go along…
Assuming that you’ve researched you topic (and target market properly), you can now start working on your information product, which should give some step-by-step advice on how to overcome a particular problem or achieve a particular goal (there’s more about picking your topic below). Just remember that when you start recording you deliver the essence of your experience (or research) in an entertaining and concise way. If you are producing an instructional CD or tape, a simplified and bare bones approach is often best. Come up with steps that will help your customers achieve their desired goals.
When you’re ready to go, shut off the phones and start recording (it’s also a good idea to have a script in front of you). Record your tape in less than 60 minutes. Play it to your friends, make any changes you think might be worthwhile based on their advice. When you’re happy with the final product, create some duplicates (or get someone to do it for you) and then start selling your product on the Internet – It’s that easy!
Making your own DVD information product
If you think your idea is an exceptional one, or something that could work better visually, then you might consider producing your own DVD of Special Interest Video (SIV’s). This type of information product (often referred to as Guerilla Video) is becoming more popular as the required production technology becomes more accessible. Anyone with a DVC, a computer and some editing software can now make fairly professional looking DVD’s. DVD’s like tapes and CD’s are also more valuable in terms of what your customer might pay for them; although they are more expensive to produce, people are more likely to pay extra money to watch a DVD (especially if it can show them how to do something instead of having to listen or read about it). For example, showing someone how to dance or swing a golf club would be much more valuable then telling them how to do it.
Remember that the ‘if you can’t do it, get someone else to’ principle applies for DVD’s and audio information products as well. It will cost you a little extra, but will usually be worth it in the long run.
Regardless of your current level of video expertise, if you have the basic equipment, you can produce your own SIV. The first time around, you should consult with a sound and lighting technician and hire a video editor who can help you assemble your masterpiece.
Picking a topic and selling it
I probably should have covered this at the beginning? Anyway, by now you’ve probably got 3-4 ideas for your own e-book? If not, you’d better get brainstorming!
Have you ever trained an animal? There’s a product right there. Do you have a fantastic way to save money? There’s another product. Do you know how to build anything? That’s definitely a product. There’s potential for information products all around you. The most important thing is that you research you target market properly and find out what they are interested in. A great way to do this is to post a short online questionnaire which you can advertise through pay per click Google Adwords. You could offer to give away a free copy of your product to anyone who helps you out with your market research.
Before marketing your product, decide how much it’s worth: as a rough guide, you can sell an audio tape for at least $10 - $30 or a series of tapes for a lot more (depending on the subject) and you should be able to double that price for a CD or DVD product. At the end of the day you really have to test your price -you need to understand how much the market values your information. If your product can help other people earn money, you should be able to sell it for $97 per unit or more. If you’re trying to market a dog grooming manual you may find it more difficult to generate good returns – you must pick your topic carefully.
Some killer website copy, targeted ads and packaging can all help add value to your product. You will also need a merchant account so you can accept payment for your information product. Visit

Making Money with Popular Search Engines
With so many internet and internet business in conjunction with a credible and high profile corporate.Credibility is a vital component of doing business on the Internet and I am sure that you would agree that credibility would give any “Internet Business Opportunity” the ability to convince you that it was all above board and a genuinely sound opportunity.
Well there are such opportunities and you do not even have to have a website to capitalize on them and to build a successful online business.
This is how it works…
Some of the top search engines have pay per click programs that essentially show small text advertisements to the right of their many search engine results (and in other places for that matter – for instance Google shows them on websites whose publishers have signed up to display them).
These advertisements have been paid for by advertisers who are participating in the respective search engine’s pay per click program and are displayed and ranked according to the keywords they have selected and how much they have been willing to bid for them.
Now for the important part…
The power of this marketing strategy is such that with a well driven pay per click campaign, huge amounts of traffic can be driven to a particular site almost immediately.
For those of you who know, many sites have huge hours invested in them to improve their search engine rankings and to generate traffic and after years (in most cases) don't come close to the amount of traffic that a Google Adwords campaign, for example, can generate overnight.
This type of campaign can have your text ads displayed in both the search engine results pages as well as one appropriate websites all over the internet. Therefore the reach of your advertising would be immense.
This means that you can set up a Google Adwords campaign and drive traffic to your affiliates’ sites (with your affiliate id in the url of course) and receive the commissions for all the sales that have been generated by the traffic driven through your adwords.
This all sounds great, but what's in it for you if you don't even have a website?
Well, if you are affiliated to a site/s or company where you earn commission on sales, your commissions will skyrocket with an Adwords campaign aimed at your affiliates’ sites.
One word of caution…
You could waste your money and become disillusioned by embarking blindly on your pay per click campaign.
Therefore, it is highly recommended to read up on how to maximize your earnings & not to spend money unwisely and research carefully as to how much to bid on specific keywords and what keywords would work best for you.

Making Money With Real Estate
The many ways of making money with real estate include not only the various types of property. Of course you can make money with land, apartment buildings, homes, commercial buildings and more. But with whatever type of real estate, there are different ways you'll make your profits. Some of those ways, and how to maximize them, are listed below.
1. Pay-down on the loan. Equity builds with every payment you make. If you get the lowest interest rate you can, more of each payment will go towards the principal.
2. Cash flow. Buy income property the right way, and you not only have your tenants paying all the costs and paying down the mortgage loan, but you also have positive cash flow. As a rule, just don't buy properties without cash flow.
3. Value appreciation. Sometimes making money with real estate can be as simple as holding on and waiting. For the most appreciation in value, however, you should buy in an area where demand is growing faster than the supply.
4. Tax depreciation. After all the tax law changes, you still get to declare a loss for depreciation that doesn't really exist. Saving at tax time, means more after-tax profit. To maximize this, buy property that has its value primarily in the buildings, because you can't depreciate the value of land.
5. Get instant equity by buying low. Buy below market and you get instant equity that will be converted into a profit when you sell. Offer a reason for the seller to sell low: fast closing, cash, assume some debts or liabilities, etc. Alternately, just make a low offer. A seller may have his own reasons to sell it cheap.
6. Selling high. If you clean it up nice, make it easy to buy, and find the right buyer, you'll get top dollar. The following four on the list cover ways to create value, so you'll get more when you sell.
7. Finance the sale. You'll often get substantially more for a property if you offer financing. This is especially true if you let someone buy it with little money down. You can also get good interest on the loan.
8. Changing the use. Find a higher use for the property, and you can convert it to make it worth more to the next owner. This could mean making condos into apartments, or apartments into condos. Perhaps converting a home into office space will get the biggest return.
9. Improve and repair. Repairing anything that needs it is obvious, but you need to look creatively and carefully to find improvements to make. Concentrate only on those that will raise the value several times more than what they cost you.
10. Sell it in parts. Sometimes in real estate, the parts are worth more than the whole. For example, splitting off an extra lot to sell for $30,000 will rarely decrease the value of a home by that much, so you'll make more money in the end.
Look at the sources of profit listed here, and think of how you can use a few of them on your next real estate investment. You can get wonderfully creative making money with real estate.
